Local authorities in Yemen's Hadramaut province signed an agreement on Wednesday (July 10th) with the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD) to carry out four agricultural projects along the province's coastline.

The projects aim to develop agriculture and livestock in the province, and will include the construction of two agricultural guidance centres, a honey production centre and an agricultural nursery, Yemen's Al-Thawra daily reported.

The projects are expected to cost a total of $22 million, and are being funded by AFESD with a contribution from the Yemeni government, the newspaper said.
