Twelve people wanted by the Iraqi judiciary on terrorist charges surrendered to police in Rabia, Ninawa province, Iraqi police in Ninawa province said Monday (January 28th).

"The 12 wanted individuals were fugitives and turned themselves in voluntarily on Monday to the Rabia police centre, based on an initiative from tribal chiefs in the area," Ninawa police spokesman Col. Khalid al-Hamdani told Al-Shorfa.

Al-Hamdani said the 12 "will receive good treatment and their initiative in turning themselves in will have a positive effect on the judiciary".
