Security forces arrested five suspected Jaish al-Nakshabandia members in central Kirkuk, the Iraqi police in the province said Thursday (November 8th).

"A special unit arrested the group at a house in central Kirkuk, along with three Katyushas and a number of mortars and light weapons," police spokesperson Col. Salam al-Jaf told Al-Shorfa.

The detainees include a prominent leader involved in attacking an army base with rocket-propelled grenades last year, killing 20 soldiers, he said.
