The Kuwaiti Ministry of Public Works announced it will soon launch 13 development projects worth more than 2.2 billion Kuwaiti dinars ($7.9 billion) across the country, Kuwait's Al-Watan reported Friday (September 21st).

Abdul Aziz al-Sabah, director of the ministry's highway directorate, told Al-Watan that the projects include construction works and renovation of highways.

These projects include paving, rehabilitating and expanding main roads in densely-populated areas, he said.
