Yemeni security forces on Friday (September 21st) arrested two al-Qaeda members as part of a security campaign carried out in the country's southern city of Aden and its suburbs to find al-Qaeda gunmen, the Yemeni Defence Ministry's website 26sep.net reported.
The forces arrested the two suspects during a Friday evening search operation in the Sheikh Othman and Jawlat al-Qahira areas of Aden.
The detainees are currently under investigation in connection with several terrorist crimes, the website said.
