The Iraqi and Jordanian governments on Thursday (September 20th) signed a memorandum of co-operation to increase Iraqi crude oil and natural gas exports to Jordan, the Iraqi Ministry of Oil said in a statement.

A joint committee established that Iraqi crude oil exports to Jordan will be increased from 10,000 to 15,000 barrels per day, the statement said.

A proposed pipeline from Iraq to Jordan would also help supply Jordan with its crude oil, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and natural gas needs, it said.
