The Dubai Chamber of Commerce Tourism and Marketing Department expects the number of Saudi visitors to the city to exceed one million by the end of this year, because of the political incidents in some Arab countries, Saudi Arabia's al-Eqtisadiah reported Tuesday (September 18th).

The department noted that more than 700,000 Saudis visited the emirate last year, 80% of whom came after the end of the school year.

Executive Manager for Business Tourism, Hamad Bin Mohammed Bin Mejrin, said all Middle Eastern countries target Saudi tourists and organise trips for them year-round, including tourist programmes suitable to the habits and traditions of Saudi families and society.
