GCC to open office in Yemen

Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Abdul Latif al-Zayani said the council plans to open an office in Yemen, Saudi Arabia's Okaz reported Saturday (September 15th.)

Al-Zayani told the newspaper that GCC countries and Yemeni officials are working on opening the office soon.

He said there are consultations about appointing an office director and head of mission, and that approval would be given soon on the selected officials.
