Egypt's President Mohamed Morsi on Wednesday (August 8th) fired Murad Muwafi, the head of the Egyptian General Intelligence Service, and two generals, AFP reported.

Morsi's spokesperson Yasser Ali said the president ordered Muwafi to retire, as well as the replacement of the head of the Republican Guards and the head of the military police, Maj. Gen. Hamdi Badeen.

Also on Wednesday, the Egyptian military killed 20 militants in the Sinai province, state television reported.

"Elements from the armed forces and interior ministry supported by the air force began a plan to restore security by pursuing and targeting armed terrorist elements in the Sinai, and they accomplished this task with complete success," the military said in a statement.

Meanwhile, unknown assailants wounded three policemen in an overnight attack on four security checkpoints near the town of al-Arish, the Interior Ministry said.

The Egyptian people have made a great achievement. It is very important to establish a democratic rule in a country such as Egypt. Indeed, democracy in this country would change many things not only in the country, but also in the whole region. I hope that there will be no foreign intervention to influence the new political process and the situation of democracy in Egypt. I supplicate Allah to make the future of Egypt much better.

The result of the presidential elections is the result of the will of the people as they become confident that their will is the strongest weapon that they can use against anyone who thinks that the Egyptian citizen is not able to do anything. The Egyptian citizen is a very strong person who is able to prove himself and develop his country as well as choose who will rule him. The fraudulence that happened in the past will not happen again no matter what those who want to impose their will on the people will do. The Egyptians will not permit another Pharaoh to rule them again.

The Islamic religion is the main and basic source of both the legislation and the rule in the State of Egypt. Indeed, the people demonstrated in streets and sacrificed their lives to defend their religion. It is obvious that neither the Egyptian people nor the Armed Forces would allow any party to alter any article of the Constitution. The fact that the people protested in streets claiming their right to enjoy freedom and to eliminate injustice on the twenty fifth of January, proves that the Egyptian men and women are quite ready to sacrifice their lives for the sake of their religion and their homeland, the Great Egypt. On the other hand, there is no relationship between religion and tourism. They are distinct aspects of life. Indeed, there is no link between them. They are not contradictory at all. The worst thing that could ever happen to a Muslim is to live in a country where people deny the existence of God. In these countries, people do not believe in God and in religion. In fact, atheism leads to negligence. However, the Islamic religion unites and strengthens the links between Man and God. Islam guides people to the straight path, enlighten the believers and provide them with all their needs. This is the true nature of the Islamic religion. Otherwise, the people would live in total ignorance forever. For this reason, the mosque and the other places of worship should regain their past position in the community. They must keep disseminating their holy message. We must call on and insist on the reform of the religious discourse in mosques and other places of worship. In the coming period, we should achieve these objectives through the appropriate and sound connection between the constant values and variables in the Islamic State.

We consider Doctor Morsi's decisions; today, are very positive and the first of their kind in his campaign of reform, just like the late Jamal Abdul Nasser's! He must show a little more power and fierceness in the next days, in order to control the country.
