The Iraqi border guard forces command said Tuesday (August 7th) that six suspected al-Qaeda members were arrested in Rutbah near the Jordanian border.

Brig. Gen. Jassem al-Dulaimi, assistant commander of the border guard forces, told Al-Shorfa that security forces found in the detainees' possession "information and detailed maps showing commercial areas and oil storage complexes [the suspects] were planning to target."

Security forces also recovered explosives in the house where the suspects were hiding, he said.
