Qatar to distribute aid to Syrian refugees in neighbouring countries

Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah Al Thani's RAF Foundation will distribute 11 million riyals ($3 million) to Syrian refugees in Turkey, Jordan and Lebanon, Qatar's Al-Arab reported Saturday (August 4th).

According to Ayedh al-Qahtani, general manager of the foundation, the organisation has allocated total of 30 million riyals ($8.2 million) as part of a popular campaign to help the Syrians.

Qatar is currently working on sending weekly assistance convoys to aid Syrian refugees in Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey, the newspaper said.
