Syrian forces shelled opposition fighters Friday (August 3rd) in the battle for Aleppo and raided villages around the country, AFP reported.
The state news agency SANA said army and police forces killed 17 "terrorists" in Aleppo where the government and the armed opposition have been battling since July 20th.
In Damascus, forces allied with the government attacked neighbourhoods controlled by the opposition and killed six civilians, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported.
Another three civilians were killed in Houla, where at least 108 people were massacred in May.
In Hama's al-Arbaeen district, scores of civilians and rebels were reported dead, the Observatory said, noting that communication networks in the city were cut.
"The number of martyrs and wounded is not known [in Al-Arbaeen] as bodies were left lying in the streets, and regime forces prevented residents from helping the wounded and burying the dead," according to a statement by the opposition Syrian National Council.
The latest violence comes ahead of a United Nations General Assembly vote on Friday to condemn the regime's use of heavy weapons as well as world powers' failure to end the conflict, AFP reported.
The resolution, drafted by Saudi Arabia, demands that Syrian officials meet their "obligations" under international law and "implement rapidly" a political transition plan agreed by the international powers on June 30th, which includes the creation of a "transitional governing body" and free elections.
A demand calling for Syrian President Bashar Assad to resign and a wider application of sanctions ordered by the Arab League were removed from the resolution.

I demand that the international community strive in order to prevent the massacres in Syria by holding conferences with all the States to break up these massacres of Syria and to stop the flow of blood, as well as reducing the bloodshed and the displacement of the youth and the children. Therefore, the international community must impose sanctions against the officials in Syria by increasing the pressure to stop it, and they should do everything possible for the discovery of the scientists, because for the introverts, the background wavelengths are strongly decreasing and in contrast, the main waves are strongly increasing. If we remember that the introvert is someone who cannot feel comfortable in the presence in a group of a raucous audience who talk about a thousand topics at the same time, and who prefers to have a deep conversation with people, it would have been possible to link between the points. There is a biological factor behind this quality. The high background waves allow the person to be surrounded by a large number of individuals with a high total in the second row for his future and the political trends, and peace. I did not contact many Arabs outside Egypt, but I think that the situation in Iraq would not be much better than the situation of the people in the Arab world in Syria, so that Syria would be promoted and would have grown. This led to considerable progress in the international community. What a theory cannot answer is the reason for making the international community particularly to take over this high attribute for the failure of the students over many similar sciences.

The beautiful and beloved Syria had recently lived a series of massacres and endless carnages of the Syrian citizens by those who were supposed to protect the people. Yes, the protector of this poor country such as the police forces or army are killing the Syrian citizens and have not finished yet because some Syrian rebels opposed injustice that occurred on the Syrian territory; hence, all the countries of the world must work to stop these brutal massacres.

After the huge amount of blood by which the pure and chaste land of Syria was irrigated with, that precious blood has bled from the nicest people in the universe which is the beloved neighboring people of Syria. That bloodshed by the hands of the so-called protector of the country who was never so, he was the killer and the murderer of the people from the Syrian citizens. Also, he was the destructor and the vandal of all the constructions and every beauty on that ancient and generous land of the beloved Syria. It was him, Bashar the President of Syria, who is the killer of its people. Recently, the beloved Syria’s great human massacres have broken out on the poor people of Syria by their traitor army to their people and country. Also, their President who has not done anything to his compatriots only made among them the massacres and destroyed the entire lives of the sad Syrian citizens. Therefore, not only the Arab countries but also the whole world, whether the Arab or the foreign countries, must quickly seek to stop the massacres and the slaughters that have filled the corners of the beloved Syria. The plans and the policies must be coordinated and developed to fully and completely stop the killings and the slaughters of the Syrian citizens on the Syrian territory. In the recent period, the beloved Syria had lost thousands of their generous people during these human massacres that were committed on its territory but its protector and ruler Bashar Al-Assad and his army which is not the beloved Syrian army because its army is its protector and not the one who spread murder among its citizens..
