Egypt’s Prime Minister-designate Hisham Qandil has selected his new cabinet, Egypt's Nile News channel reported on Wednesday (August 1st).
Qandil will formally unveil the entire line-up on Thursday before President Mohamed Morsi swears in the new team, according to Morsi's spokesperson Yasser Ali.
Foreign Minister Mohammed Kamal Amr and Finance Minister Mumtaz al-Said, both members of the outgoing cabinet, will retain their posts, as well as Defence Minister Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi, AFP reported.
Meanwhile, former deputy interior minister Ahmed Gamal al-Din will become the new interior minister.
Education Minister Mostafa Mosad and Housing Minister Tareq Wafiq are both newly appointed and belong to the Muslim Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party.
Last week President Morsi appointed Qandil, irrigation minister in the outgoing cabinet, to form a new cabinet.

I would like to congratulate the Egyptian brave youth who have proven to the entire world that they have a case and that thanks to their unity and determination they have managed to achieve what other parties have failed to fulfill. In fact, the youth have faced injustice and the oppressive dictatorship which has never wanted the wellbeing of Egypt or Egyptians. Thus, these brave youth have put an end to these corrupt governments. They have also fulfilled the most wonderful achievements for Egypt and the long Egyptian history. In fact, what the Egyptian youth revolution has fulfilled has been the best evidence that the youth has got enough strength and determination to take the firm stance against injustice and tyranny. They have entered history from its widest gates through what they have planned thanks to their patience, heroism, braveness and determination to overthrow the corrupt and dictatorial government. Therefore, we have to congratulate Egyptians for the grace of proving their existence which they needed since a long time. In fact, Egyptians have been deprived of their rights to vote which is the most important role of citizens in any place in the world. Egyptians have also been deprived of any role to choose their president or any official in any sector. Thus, we should congratulate Egyptians for the success of the elections despite their unconstitutionality. We should congratulate them temporarily until Allah will distinguish the malicious and the good.

Following the great 25th of January Revolution that happened at the hands of the Egyptians and changed the face of Egypt at all levels politically, economically and from all the other aspects. The Egyptian citizen has become capable of choosing his president and practicing politics freely. In the past and under the role of the former regime and the deposed president Mubarak, prison was the destination of all those who speak in politics as if it was limited to those who flatter the regime only. Hence, the Egyptian people exploded with anger in the face of this corrupt regime and the oppressive president until they deposed him and brought another elected president. The people in Egypt now elect their president freely, while the issue of the exchange of power in the past was a serious problem. No people in the Arab region have ever succeeded before that in forcing the president to step down for another one. All of them come to power and never leave as if they monopolized the office for themselves only. Is it logical for the president to stay for three decades as if he is n monarchy not a republic? Is not there anyone in Egypt who can assume this office other than him? The Egyptian people suffered much at the hands of the former regime, but today they practice their political freedoms. Hence, we are all looking forward to comprehensive developments in all fields in Egypt that include the education, the curricula, schools and economic renascence to which all the Egyptians aspire.

Spare us and stop complaining against the Brotherhood; take care of the country instead of wasting time talking about the Brotherhood who succeeded in the free clean elections. This way which you are following will hinder them and put obstacles in their way.
