Al-Qaeda's south of Baghdad wali committed suicide Monday (July 16th) after he was surrounded by Iraqi security forces outside Fallujah, the Interior Ministry said.
Interior Ministry spokesperson Maj. Gen. Adil Daham told Al-Shorfa that Amin Hamid Majid "shot himself using his own pistol when he was besieged by the Iraqi police in the sub-district of al-Saqlawiya, north of Fallujah".
"He was with one of his aides in a residential building that was being used as an al-Qaeda hideout," he said.
Police arrested his aide and seized weapons in the building.

Beautiful dream of each Arab since ever, it’s not known when it will come true. Although coming true means all the good and dignity and everything beautiful in our Arab land. Iraq will be restored by the hands of all Arabs together to the beautiful state it once had, it will rebuild again and become better that before and revive all its fields, whether economics, culture, education, or industry. If the Arab united Iraq will become prettier than it was before, also all Arab countries will live their best times ever only if the only dream of honorable union comes true. An old dream all the Arab nations had waited for to come true but always there was an obstacle, but if we decided to achieve that dream nothing can stop us, we simply have to decide to make it true, which had been dreamed for long time and didn’t reach the point of execution yet.
