Two civilians were killed and three others were wounded Saturday (July 14th) in a blast targeting a liquor store in western Baghdad, Iraqi police reported.
Col. Hussein al-Assafi, the deputy police in Karkh, told Al-Shorfa an improvised explosive device (IED) planted next to a liquor store in the Khadraa neighbourhood exploded Saturday morning.
The blast also destroyed the store and damaged several cars parked in the area.
Security forces found al-Qaeda flyers in the area threatening more terrorist attacks, al-Assafi said.
