Two Iraqi soldiers were killed and three others wounded Wednesday (July 11th) when a house rigged with explosives blew up in the Aaneh district of Anbar province, Iraqi police said.
Police said they suspect an al-Qaeda-affiliated group was responsible for the attack.
"An Iraqi army force moved towards a mud-brick house in Aaneh after receiving information about the presence of gunmen inside," Anbar police spokesperson Col. Rahim Zaban told Al-Shorfa.
"However, the house was booby-trapped with improvised explosive devices (IEDs) that exploded when the army forces entered, killing two soldiers and wounding three others, including the commander of raiding force, a captain," he said.

Every day the terrorists prove that they are soulless bodies and that they have no living consciences. They assassinate the innocent traffic officers in a new tide of violence launched by Al-Qaeda and its criminal followers in order to harm the Iraqis in any way. I think that the security forces are required to work harder to punish all those who commit these crimes severely because they target the innocent victims brutally and mercilessly. The terrorist killers want to put off any civilizational landmark in the Iraqi cities and they do not want to allow Iraq to restore the age of bloom; rather, they want massive chose in all sectors of life in Iraq including the traffic sector. By targeting the traffic officers, they prove that they are against humanity and against the Iraqis. They want to destroy Iraq in any possible way. Hence, I condemn these terrorist and bloody operations that were carried out by the terrorists and flowers of Al-Qaeda against the traffic officers in the Iraqi cities. Hence, we today condemn Al-Qaeda clearly; such crimes prove their deviance and criminality as well as insistence to destroy Iraq and its people.

Extremism is a poison that destroys each mind that it owns. Extremism is ordering the mind to stop thinking, distinguishing, and judging matters logically. It is as it literally refers to, a deviation from the right path in judging matters and coexisting in life. It is a sterile surrender to words that are memorized but not understood or rationalized. Extremism has nothing to do with logic or wisdom. It is a sterile alignment that can't see or hear, but just carries out what is poured into it. Our Prophet, peace be upon him, urged us to follow principle of moderation in all our life’s affairs. Our Prophet would speak out of passion; otherwise, it is inspiration from the Almighty God.
