Supplemental electric power is coming to Yemen's port city of Aden on July 19th, the state news agency Saba reported Tuesday (July 10th).
Khalil Abdul Malek, general manager of Public Electricity Corporation in Aden, told the news agency that an additional 60 megawatts of power will end the repeated blackouts in Aden and its suburbs.
Equipment will arrive between July 14th-17th, and will then be subsequently installed in power plants, he said.
The corporation has a two-year contract to provide power to the city.
