Three civilians were killed and a fourth was wounded when a motorcycle bomb exploded in the western part of Mosul, the Iraqi police said Saturday (May 5th).

"A motorcycle bomb parked on a road, used by the army's military convoys and vehicles that transport Mosul University students, in Islah neighbourhood, exploded just after an army convoy passed," Ninawa police spokesperson Col. Khalid al-Hamdani told Al-Shorfa.

Al-Hamdani said three citizens who were near the scene of the explosion were killed and one was wounded, but the military convoy itself was not hit.
