Under the lack of the basic services that should be provided to the Iraqi citizen and the armies of the unemployed as well as the cancer of the financial and administrative corruption, the security situation in Iraq witnesses horrible deterioration as Baghdad alone witnessed more than ten bloody bombings simultaneously accompanied by a tide of assassinations and clashes. The same security deterioration took place in Ninawa, Salah ad-Din, Diyala, and Babel in a worse way. We have warned against these security implications because of the political conflicts and lack of confidence as well as the mutual accusations. These developments came in a period when the government of al-Maliki is in urgent need of pacification and getting everything under control. Iraq still suffers because of the war and the political and popular disputes, and it may even about to witness a civil war and sectarian strife that is encouraged by well-known enemies of Iraq amidst a state of political stupidity and failure to take the future developments into account. Following the withdrawal of the US forces and leaving the military arena uncovered, the inability of al-Maliki’s government to control the policies and security situation became very clear. The bombings became daily across Iraq and there are hundreds of the victims everywhere including dead, wounded, and displaced people. In addition, there is terror about what to come in the future.
