All Syrian refugees who have come to Jordan during the Syrian crisis are receiving medical care at Jordanian hospitals and health centres free of charge, al-Rai reported Friday (February 24th).

Dr. Abdul Latif Warikat, Jordan's Minister of Health, said in a ministry statement issued Friday that a medical clinic is operating in al-Ramtha where Syrian refugees are staying.

Warikat said Jordan's King Abdullah issued instructions to provide free medical care for Syrians when they arrived in Jordan to "support them in their tough conditions and alleviate their suffering".

Rakan al-Majali, official spokesperson for the Jordanian government, said in a statement Thursday that 78,000 Syrians entered Jordan recently along the shared borders between the two countries.
