Two Sahwa members killed in Baghdad

Two Sahwa members were killed when a sticky bomb attached to their car exploded in Abu Ghraib, west of Baghdad, Iraqi police said Monday (February 6th).

Lt. Col. Mushtaq Talib, a Baghdad police spokesperson, told Al-Shorfa that Hammoud Abd and Khalid Khadran, two members of the Abu Ghraib Sahwa forces, were killed in the blast. A woman who passed by the car was wounded when the explosion occurred.

He said the police opened an investigation into the attack.
