Nine people were killed and 25 were wounded in terrorist attacks that rocked Baghdad Sunday evening, Iraqi police said Monday (November 7th).

Three improvised explosive devices detonated simultaneously in the Arabi clothing market in central Baghdad while the market was crowded with shoppers.

Baghdad police spokesperson Lt. Col. Mushtaq Talib told Al-Shorfa that three children were among those who were killed, and nine others were wounded.

Maj. Ali Hekmat of the al-Rasafa police department in Baghdad said, "Terrorism has ruined Eid for those families. We are proceeding with our investigations and are trying to arrest the perpetrators."
