High-ranking dignitaries arrived in Riyadh Tuesday (October 25th) to take part in the funeral of Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, AFP reported.
Prince Sultan died Saturday (October 22nd) in a New York hospital.
Jordanian King Abdullah II, Yemeni Vice President Gen. Abd Rabbo Mansour, the Moroccan king's brother Moulay Hashim, Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bülent Arınç, US Vice President Joe Biden and Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari were among the dignitaries who arrived Tuesday in Riyadh. Brunei's crown prince and Comoros Island's president arrived Monday night.
Prince Sultan's body was wrapped in a brown cloth and laid on the mosque ground as mourners prayed for him. His body was then buried in a nearby cemetery.
