A trial for 85 al-Qaeda suspects in a Saudi court on charges of involvement in terrorism began on Sunday (June 26th), the official Saudi Press Agency reported.

An unidentified number of the defendants are being tried in connection with a 2003 triple truck bombing attack in Riyadh that killed more than 30 people. The rest of the defendants face charges of possessing weapons, bomb making and attacking security personnel.

Security forces also seized videos chronicling the terror attacks conducted by certain defendants, the agency reported.
