Judicial authorities extended the period of detention for the sons of Egypt's former president, Hosni Mubarak, by 15 more days on Monday (May 30th) as investigations continue into how they acquired their wealth, wire services reported.
Alaa and Gamal Mubarak are charged with partnering with their father to illegally accumulate wealth. Alaa Mubarak is also being investigated for his business connections to Ahmed Saad Abdullah, the head of Egypt's financial exchange.
Mubarak and his sons were originally detained on April 13th.

Every day, we hear that the provisional detention has been renewed, but we want to know when we will hear that they have been sentenced. I am afraid that this will happen after their escape. At that time, we will ask about those who are responsible for the escape of the former president and his family. However, I expect that we will see them attacking and accusing each other. Anyway, we thank God for everything.
