Saudi Arabia is preparing for this year's Hajj as over 1.5 million pilgrims already arrived at King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) in Jeddah and Prince Muhammad Airport in Medina, said Mecca’s Governor Prince Khaled al-Faisal.

The government inspected the terminal and taken measures to ensure that pilgrims are able to move through security quickly in order to avoid squatting, according to Al-Watan newspaper. The Hajj terminal, which extends over an area of 90,000 square meters, is prepared to receive 3,800 pilgrims per hour, said Abdullah Rehaimi, president of General Authority of Civil Aviation.
