Yemen has arrested 19 suspects in connection with a pair of bombings near the Al-Wahda club in the Sheikh Othman area of the southern city of Aden, Al Arabiya reported Tuesday (October 12th).
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the dual bomb attack.
Seventeen people, including two police officers, were wounded in the attack. Three people later died of their injuries.
Officials said the "cowardly act" would not undermine the security plans that have put in place for the 20th Gulf Football Championship, which will be staged in Yemen between Nov. 22nd and Dec. 5th.
