Jordan's Ministry of Information and Communications Technology is accepting applications from public-sector institutions requesting access to blocked websites, The Jordan Times reported Friday (August 13th).
The head of a public-sector office is the only individual who can request the access for the ministry or institution.
The government blocked 40 news sites and other websites last week, saying employees were wasting an average of two hours every working day.
