Jordan and Syria agreed to improve efficiency and co-operation in the health sector, The Jordan Times reported on Friday (August 6th).
"Unifying health regulations and laws in the two countries will help improve health services and control epidemics in case of outbreaks," health ministry spokesman Hatem Azruie said.
Jordan and Syria's health ministers met in Amman this week and also agreed to ensure the appropriate amount of vaccines and other emergency medical supplies.
