A group of activists and opposition lawmakers gathered in front of the National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) headquarters to protest the arrest of Khaled al-Fadala, head of the NDA, the Kuwait Times reported Wednesday (July 7th).
Al-Fadala was arrested last week after a court charged him with offending the Prime Minister, Sheikh Nasser al-Sabah.
"Our protest is to celebrate freedom of expression," said MP Aseel al-Awadhi.
"Al-Fadala is fighting for values that we must all remember and implement," said MP Khaled al-Tahoos.
