Thousands of Palestinians living in Lebanon marched to UN headquarters in Beirut to demand more rights, Al-Jazeera reported on Sunday (June 27th).

Lebanon's 450,000 registered Palestinian refugees are not allowed to own property and often face employment discrimination. They are also prohibited from receiving social services.

A draft law in parliament would allow Palestinians living in Lebanon to own an apartment and provide greater job opportunities.
