Saudi King Abdullah inaugurated the Ghazal 1, the first car manufactured in Saudi Arabia, Al-Arabiya reported Tuesday (June 15th).
Students at King Saud University were given freedom to design the vehicle, which is nearly five metres long and two metres wide.
The design and manufacture of the car "shows that we have capable people who can transform ideas into products of high economic value", said Education Minister Khaled al-Anqari.

By the way, Birzeit University in Palestine managed to manufacture a car tens of years ago, but the occupation did not allow it to be marketed. If the West did not control us, we could have manufactured rockets more than fifty years ago. This is evidenced by the fact that Iran managed to manufacture a space shuttle without being occupied by any country. We, the Arabs, do not lack minds. We lack freedom. It is all a matter of pressures exerted by the West to make us give up Palestine and Iraq, which we will never do.
