Kazem al-Saher's agent Munther Kareem said the Caesar of Arabic Song was invited to participate in Nawroz celebrations in northern Iraq. He made the statement on al-Saher's official Facebook page.
Nawroz is a celebration of the first day of the Kurdish solar year in Iraq which begins in March. Kareem said that al-Saher's decision to participate is contingent upon reaching agreement on all details.
Al-Saher is expected to release his latest album "Stop the Pain" on January 31st with 13 new singles. He is currently in Spain preparing to film the video clip of his song "My Honourable Gentleman" with Jordanian director Hussein Daybis.
Singer Wadih Al-Safi will participate in the musical "Dubai, City of Love" along with Hani Shaker, Noor Mhanna, Ayad al-Iraqi and Abdullah Bilkheir.
The lyrics were written by Youssef Suleiman, the music was by Haitham Ziyad, mixing by Tony Saba and directed by Safwan Nimo. Izzat Rustum is credited for the idea and supervision of the musical with Milad Abu Al-Nagham. The production company is "Luxury Pass" and distribution by Melody Music Production.
Najwa Karam, the Sun of Lebanese Song, as she is known, appeared on the program "Guess What?" on MBC and announced that she is in love with someone outside the music industry. She also hinted that an engagement is pending.
Karam was described during her visit to the show as a "pleasant fragrance" because MBC presented her with a fragrance named after her – Sun of the Lebanese Song. Karam is also a judge on the MBC programme "Arabs Got Talent." Her co-judges include Ali Jaber, the dean of Mohammed Bin Rashid College of Media at The American University in Dubai and Amr Adeeb, a media personality.
The musician Melhem Barakat and the artist May Hariri are once again in the spotlight but this time it is because of a court case. Barakat filed charges against his ex-wife, Hariri, after she maligned him on the programme "For Release" on the Lebanese satellite channel "New TV".

The young Iraqi singer Humam is finishing the final touches on his latest album after filming a clip of his song, "I Am Out of Luck", directed by Adeeb Mufti.
