Killing the innocent is forbidden in all divine books, and what good did it do to the American ambassador’s killer in Libya? A few bucks; will that sum paid to the criminal satisfy him if the country arrested and judged him, either by prison or execution? What will he do with this money if he lost his life; will he leave it for his heirs? Doesn’t he know that Allah forbade us from killing and illegal money?

Islam is the religion of tolerance and Allah has ordered us to meet harm with good. We see the Prophet when Allah ordered him to announce the calling and people called him a liar after calling him the honorable honest, he would discuss with them, talk to them and argue with them with good manners in order to be enlightened to the Islamic religion or continue with their stubbornness and their disbelief. Showing the religion’s tolerance, one day a man visited him to know more about the new religion that he heard of, but the Prophet got distracted with other people, so Allah sent down a whole Surat to reproach the Prophet for what happened from him accidentally. After that the Prophet met him saying “Hello to whom my God reproached me for his sake” How well behaved you are, my mediator Mohammed.

Our Islamic religion ordered us not to kill the innocent, so the group that planned and killed the American ambassador in Iraq doesn’t represent this religion in any way for the act is opposed to its teaching and is considered one of the major sins that needs a great atonement in order for God to accept it, and the proof is that this is an unacceptable criminal reaction.

What happened in Libya when the American ambassador was killed was a horrific thing and it cannot be ignored, so that this would not become a way of expressing anger in the Arab countries. The Libyan government must punish those responsible for this harmful action which incriminates them and could bring them what they don’t like and couldn’t possibly be an expression of Muslims’ anger towards the abuse on God’s Prophet (peace be upon him) when the movie insulting and abusing him was produced.

I wonder too much about what is happening now in the Arab countries of Islam regarding reaction because the non-Muslims see Islam as violence, terrorism, theft, and tyranny. What the Arab people did have proven the retarded points of view that the non-Muslims aim at Islam. We must be aware and be careful regarding that act. If we looked at what the Libyan people did to the American ambassador, we would resent that they did such a shameful act. Islam does not accept that, even if he was wrong about the whole thing. The Holy Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) suffered fierce attacks in his life and the infidels and lords of Quraish made fun of him. Although they were not doing any acts of violence or bloodshed, he met the bad with good, and handled their words to show them that Islam is righteous and that Islam is the true religion that should be adopted. However, everything has to come gently and patiently. The Libyan people should follow the example of the Prophet.

The manner of the prophet (peace be upon him) is part of the manners of Quran, as the Lady Aisha said(God bless her and complacency). In addition, the most important ethic of the prophet (peace be upon him) is tolerance of his offenders as well as pardon. That reminds me of an attitude of the prophet (peace be upon him) when he came from Al Ta’ef and there was a word that he killed any poet who offended him. Ka'b was one of the greatest in the pre-Islamic era poets and Islam. He had satirical poems about the Prophet (peace be upon him). Ka'b went to the Prophet after his performance of dawn prayer accompanied by a group of companions and Al Ansar. Zuhair came to him while he put his hand on the hand of the Prophet. He said to him and asked him what to do when Ka'b comes to him to ask him for security, repentance and entering Islam. The Holy Prophet told him to forgive him and said to him, “I am Ka'b bin Zuhair”, and then The Holy Prophet laughed and accepted his repentance, and decorated him his apostate. Then, Ka'b asked the Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) in praising him with his amaism Poem. He forgave anyone who offended him by word or deed. This poem is one of the most beautiful poems in praise of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and we conclude from this story the mercy, kindness and generosity of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) even on his enemies. I sacrifice my father and mother for you, O Messenger of God, a mercy and kind person you are.

We, as Muslims, reject what happened because it is a clear insult to Islam, to the Prophet and all Muslims. We have not seen anything from the American Government but blacking out the offensive movie, and recently what the demonstrators did in front of their headquarters in the Islamic countries, and asking the governments to secure their diplomatic delegates. Even if the demonstrators have done wrong, the offending act must be immediately punished because the holy Prophet has his reserved right to not being subjected to religions or offending any denomination. It is known to them that we will not do as they did with any of their messengers because we believe and respect all prophets as termed as an article of Islamic faith. The American Government denied that offending act although it has to look into it, even if only to calm down Islamic public opinion. It is enough insulting Islam, the Muslims and the prophet because Islam did not present to the world anything but a tolerant and respectful message for all religions. They are mistaken if they thought that the Muslims are weak.

Tolerance in Islam was not born from a new womb, but has existed since being sent by the prophet Mohammed Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). Islam has been marked by tolerance, forgiveness and dissemination of good manners, and was first characterized by the one who taught the humans, Muhammad (peace be upon him). When the prophet Muhammad entered Al Medina, he made a covenant with the Jews living in the city and their number was big. He issued the Charter promising to respect their beliefs and religion with ways to ensure their protection and prevent any harm from happening to them, and to be partners in the country as well as put their hands in the hands of the Muslims against those who want evil for them. This is the first instance of Islam, which was to lay the foundations of religious tolerance at the beginning of the call of the Messenger of Allah. The Messenger of Allah is the best to host, receive, guide, and give presents to other religious members. It is known that he had hosted a delegation of the Christians of Abyssinia in the Masjid and even he himself took on the duty of hospitality and service. We will not forget when the Christians of the Najran delegation came and gave them part of the Masjid in order to pray and worship, and the Prophet and Muslims prayed in the other part. When they discussed religion with him, he argued with them literately and soft and good manners. The Messenger of Allah is the best creature and that we would rather drink from his hand the precious pure drink on the Day of Resurrection. Tolerated and pardoned for his offenders, he was even good mannered, tolerant and soft.

None of us denies that what the young people are doing now regarding the destruction of their country is just sacrilege against the State property and that this is done to no avail to the public interest, but has many, many negative effects on the State, and the destruction of installations as well as buildings. Is it harder than it is to destroy the minds of our youth who are our future, who do not know anything about it? Our young people can build a better future and the same ones can destroy our country, and destroy our future. Our young people can be compared to a double-edged sword and we should increase the awareness of these young people so they will not become a means to be used to manipulate the future of our children and the future of our country. It takes lots of many enlightened minds to contribute to the security control of the country and help develop the minds of our young people to push them forward. Because this destruction occurred at the time of pretending, whether to institutions or embassies, buildings or damage and burning of security cars or others, these are considered barbaric and chaotic acts that do not reflect the view of the real characteristics of freedom and expression of the view. Nevertheless, it turns into manifestations of the terrorists harming their rights and harming the benefits of their state. It also might reflect an unbalanced image of Islam and Muslims, although Islam itself commanded us to adopt good morality, restraint, and forgiveness whenever we can. Nothing is stopping us from standing, protesting peacefully, and pointing out signs that show our point of view.

The attitudes of the prophet (peace upon him) show how Allah created the prophet (peace upon him). His attitudes with the non-Muslims show how the prophet (peace upon him) captivated hearts.

The Egyptian Muslims and Christians do not accept tampering in other religions whatever this tampering was. In our Islamic nation, we want to be one nation and this film is far from driving us to discord and sedition. This work does not shake the Muslim-Christian relationship anyhow, but rather it shows the strong relationship between the textiles of one nation.

People have to be self-controlled in demonstrations and we have to know the meaning of the concept of protesting so that we can know exactly what the peaceful protest is. I think the policy of the governments in the Arab world put to death the freedom of opinion, culture and speech that led the people of such countries to act in wild and backward ways in order to get their rights. Sometimes those ways turn into terrorism, murder, violence, burning, and destroying institutions. More than this, they are also assaulting the security forces of the State and those who protect the institutions that belong to the State. These are all terrorist actions meant for sabotage and they are part of this savage image. We have a lot to learn from the western world. First, we have to learn the ways of handling proper conversations, which will lead to raising the freedom of speech and opinion.

Disdain religions and the sarcasm with religious icons as well as mocking any of the religious doctrines. It is one of the most offensive things that injured the dignity of the people. Moreover, it resulted in disorders and public anger. Even the Christian world and the Christians condemn the offensive movie of the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) reporting that the ideas in the movie have no relation with culture, civilization or even freedom, whether it is freedom of speech or freedom of opinion. They wondered, how could they portray the prophet (peace be upon him) in a movie, that the people could watch, whereas nobody could represent such a person? Second, how could they show him as a womanizer, drowning in pleasures? In addition, the question for the sane and intellectual people, is how could it be that Allah sends a messenger to the people who was never with the highest morals? This movie indicates very low knowledge and awareness of religions. We, the Muslims, believe in Jesus, Mary (Maryam, the mother of Jesus), and all the messengers and prophets who were sent to humanity. More than this, we respect other dogmas and beliefs of the whole world, even those who are not monotheistic. We only have to preach to them Islam and monotheism the same way the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) did. He lived with the unbelievers at the beginning of his life. He did not mock them, but instead he was pushing them to think about why they would worship the idol statues that were not useful or harmful? How could they worship all those idol statues away from worshiping Allah the almighty? He was wondering why they were worshiping idols made of pressed dates and then eating them! The Prophet Muhammad was inviting them to know more about Islam in a very merciful way. He was explaining religion and monotheism principles, and also how to handle calamities and being patient until Allah the almighty puts into effect his will, as Allah knows all, the prescience, the future, and He has power over all things.

What is Islam? What is the message that came out of Islam to the whole world without discrimination between nations or peoples, even in culture, color or creed? The Islamic world should top the list of good morals, taking the Messenger of God as its role model who came and carried this message around his neck to guide humans. The Messenger of Allah met the bad with good. He was even sympathetic to his offenders. It is not a weakness, but out of the philosophy of the power and the will to transform negative things in humans to the pros that benefit the whole world. This is Mohammed, who was king of the world of the Persians or the Romans with the wonder of his philosophy of tolerance and forgiveness. Here we are in this world filled with hate and envy, and we need the morality and tolerance of Muhammad.

All of us in the Islamic nation hallow the generous prophet (peace be upon him) and love him more than we love our souls and ourselves even. We love him more than our fathers and mothers. Nowadays, we are in a world where there are many freedoms that the constructive actions are mixed with those that are destructive. Destructive actions result in disorder and pain in the spirit of the nation. Thus, we have to watch out for the actions that can offend any culture, as well as any civilization. Therefore, it would be much worse when it is related to the messenger prophet of Allah (peace be upon him). The director of the offensive movie used freedom of speech without knowledge. He used freedom of acting without going back to the Islamic references. He used media material without civilized censorship and a huge production that could get him a large amount of money. However, it was all without awareness of what exactly Islam is. We want the world to read about Islam before producing any material to the media in order to create a message that has an obvious aim. Nobody should produce any material, whether it is audio or video, without reading and gaining the necessary knowledge about the culture of those peoples. We cannot attack someone without knowing who he is, what he did, or when we should criticize him. This will never happen until we have the culture of respecting each other’s opinions. Moreover, the offensive actions have to face proper thinking and awareness that could be suitable to all sects. In addition, we have to learn how to condemn and deplore the actions offensive to the generous prophet (peace be upon him).

The prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon, has lots and lots of tenderness and kindness. His heart was pure and did not carry any grudge, though small, against any one tolerant to the extreme even in wars and invasions. In the Battle of Uhud when his blessed face was cut, it was difficult for his companions and they asked the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, to curse the infidels but then he answered and told them that he was not sent as a curse, but he was sent as mercy. Have you ever seen such tolerance like his? Have you seen such amnesty and pardon as his? He was wounded and his blood dripped on his tolerant face and he did not want to curse them. He was patient with the idolaters and all the actions which they do to him. One day, while he was praying and prostrating at the Kaaba, Abu Jahl put some dirt in his blessed back and started laughing and mocking the Messenger of Allah. But the Prophet continued in his prostration and didn't raise his head until Fatima came and removed the dirt. However, our prophet was not angry or mad at them. He was not safe from the harm of his uncle Abu Lahab, who used to deny him in every meeting or anywhere he goes and Um Jameel, Abu Lahab's wife, used to collect woods and thorns and threw them in the way of Prophet Mohammad to hurt his blessed honored feet while walking. So Allah the Almighty sent the Quran where it shows the agony that lies ahead for her and her husband. While he and his companions were besieged in Al Shi'ub, they even came close to starving to death and some died actually, but he did not curse the infidels because he felt mercy and compassion for them. What is this ability and patience that were the characteristics of the Prophet, peace is upon him? And how we marvel at the love of God! God preferred him to other prophets and messengers; he is the teacher of the entire humanity and we must imitate his good manners.

The Arab or Islamic countries, in particular, and their rulers must start thinking fast of an appropriate reaction to the film, which is presented with the purpose of harming the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, and the rulers should have a strong reaction which will stop all those who are tempted to commit such acts whatever their nationality was, their ideology or attitudes. And this is not for the purpose of revenge for the Muslims of the world as a whole, but an apology to support Mohammed, the last prophet, peace be upon him. The apology on this film does not heal the wounds of the Islamic nation and is unable to return the situation as it was.

You are incapable of doing wrong and God said that you are the best of his creations and you went to and back from the sky. Prophet Muhammad, the best creature and the best of all creation on this earth, my master and prophet, people never saw anybody who is better than you are. The Prophet’s morals included infidels before Muslims, how he enjoyed generosity that no one went asking him for anything but came out of the Messenger’s home pleased. In addition, the Messenger Muhammad was shy; I want to tell you a story about the Messenger of Allah that I had read before. Aisha told that one day he was lying in her house and part of his thighs or legs were exposed. Then Abu Bakr came and he did not change his position and spoke to him, and then Umar Ibn Al Khattab entered and spoke with him on the same position, but when Othman Ibn Affan asked permission to enter he settled and covered his legs with his clothes and talked with him. Aisha asked him after they left; “Abu Bakr came and you did not move and also Omar, but when you saw Othman Ibn Affan you were ashamed and covered your legs. What is the reason, O Prophet Muhammad?” The Messenger of Allah said, “Should I not be shy of a man that even the angels are ashamed of?” We hope that Allah may honor us with your morals, O Prophet of Mercy. The Messenger of Allah set an example of humility and a lack of vanity and pride; he worked with his friends and fought with them. He never commanded without having their hands in his hand and his tolerance for whoever insulted him. His companions came, asking him to pray for a community which was downtrodden, because they were infidels and did not want to join Islam. They asked him to call upon them with doom. However, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), said “May Allah guide this communityand make them come willingly.” These are the ethics of the Messenger, Muhammad.

The Holy Quran addressed to the Prophet, peace be upon him, and called him “the Imam of Mercy”. This is the Messenger of Islam, Mohmad PBUH, he is the noblest human being since the beginning of time and until the day of Judgment. No one could have mercy, compassion or forgiveness like Muhammad peace be upon him. He is the source of all mercy to people until the end of days.

Murder is an unforgivable crime which is prohibited in the Quran. The latter is not one of Islam’s pillars. It is considered as the major sin which we must avoid. What happened to the American ambassador to Libya is rejected in the Quran, as well as religion, before being rejected by human law.

We have to perceive the destruction of State properties differently. In fact, Prophet Mohammed, blessings and peace be upon him, taught us, according to the teachings of the Quran, that peace is a duty on us as Muslims in times of truce. Allah the Almighty said: (If the enemy is inclined towards peace, do make peace with them, and put your trust in Allah.). Therefore, we must follow this Quranic order when we demonstrate. In fact, demonstrations are known for their peacefulness so we have to reject all kinds of violence such as destroying private properties, burning and other acts which only a few people recognize their importance and effect. Indeed, violence has got a lot of repercussions.

Libya had a great Revolution after the Tunisian Revolution which has been exported to many Arab countries like Egypt. In fact, Libya had been exposed to a great suffering due to the tyranny of Gaddafi and his sons. Thus, the rebels arrested Al-Gaddafi and they killed him in the most brutal way. Besides, the arms have been widespread in Libya and this was the beginning of the bad things because people have become familiar with killing and arms. In fact, this is against our religion which is characterized by tolerance, convenience and forgiveness. Thus, how can they kill the American Ambassador in this brutal way? In fact, he was not responsible for this offensive film. And our holy Prophet didn’t urge us to do this because this brutal way cannot be accepted by God and by his messenger, especially as there are many other ways to express our dissatisfaction. Thus, you must avoid cruelty in dealing with others and you must follow the Islamic teachings and the Prophet’s Sunnah, peace be upon him. In fact, I don’t ask you to remain silent about the Prophet’s insult. However, I ask you to behave with wisdom and reason.

Muhammad, peace be upon him, has a lot of stances that can prove his tolerance and forgiveness especially in dealing with those who abused him. For example, when he left Taif, our great Prophet was exposed to torture and mock. Thus, he left Taif with a great sadness. This is in addition to the endured physical and psychological pain. Besides, his leg was bleeding. Then, our master Jibril stayed in a place called Qarn al Manazil with the King of Mountains. And they asked the Prophet: what do you want? He said: I hope that they will worship God. Thus, the Prophet, peace be upon him, had mercy on all people even those who have harmed him.

The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, was known for his honesty since his childhood. He received the revelation at the age of forty. In fact, our beloved prophet had a lot of good ethics and this was clear through his behavior and stances whether with Muslims or with his enemies. He was known for his tolerance and forgiveness. For example, in the great Day of Al-Fath when our Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him entered Mecca, he faced all the kinds of torture and ill-treatment. Thus, the Prophet, peace be upon him, said: “What can I will for you?” They said: “You are a good brother and a good nephew”. Thus, the Prophet, peace be upon him, remembered his brother Yusuf and he forgave them. In fact, our great prophet often asked for the Shura (council) in his battles and affairs. For example, in the Ghazwa of Badr which was the Prophet’s first battle, he hadn’t decided to enter the battle until the companions supported him. Thus, the Prophet, peace be upon him, was a mercy for all people.

Surely, we all know that Islam is characterized by tolerance. In fact, the Prophet, blessings and peace be upon him, was a tolerant man, too. He did not respond to insults with insults. Islam is known as the religion of ease rather than extremism. Indeed, the Muslims are urged to lead a simple life and to facilitate the coexistence with the non-Muslims. Historically, the Christians lived in Islamic nations peacefully even though they did not convert to Islam. They enjoyed safety as well as other human rights under the Islamic rule. In fact, the Quran and the prophetic Hadith urged the Muslims to show tolerance in dealing with others. Islam emerged in a period where all nations lived in total ignorance and intolerance. At that time, slavery was very common. The masters owned more than one slave. They tortured and humiliated them. Fortunately, Islam prevented the trade of slaves. Still more, some Muslims bought slaves in order to emancipate them, which showed the tolerance of this religion. The increasing expansion and influence of Islam led to the emergence of many prominent Muslim doctors, scientists and geniuses. Of course, the credit goes to Islam, above all. There are many genius Muslim scholars, and this shows the openness of the Islamic communities towards other cultures. The Muslim nations are the pioneers in terms of freedom, human dignity and respect for other civilizations. The Muslims learned how to be tolerant thanks to the preaching of the revered Prophet, blessing and peace be upon him. The latter gave many sermons about the importance of tolerance.

Before the Prophet and Islam, we didn’t know the meaning of pride and dignity and we didn’t respect anything. Besides, women’s rights have been violated before the coming of the Prophet. In fact, women had no right to live because they had been killed and buried alive without mercy. And then the Prophet guaranteed dignity for women and he forbade their killing and insult. In the pre-Islamic era, women were treated like animals. And then the Prophet gave them dignity. And before his death, he recommended women’s rights. In fact, the Prophet showed mercy toward women and he defended them because they were weak creatures who had no rights.

This film which has insulted the Holy Prophet has mainly aimed to sow a big sectarian discord in Egypt between Muslims and Christians. This is in order to spread killing among them. However, we must know that not all the Christians are responsible for this issue. Thus, we must stand strictly against this discord.

The circumstances of killing the U.S. ambassador came after the offending film of the Prophet Muhammad. This film is what caused this war on the weak secured man in his place and suddenly death came to his door. However, this act came as an angry reaction and whoever did that must be punished since Allah the Almighty has forbidden killing the innocent and the unarmed. As such, they must fight with awareness and understanding. It would be better if they had requested an interview with the Ambassador, for example, requesting an official apology for this movie, instead of killing him in this brutal way, and put the image of Islam in a critical situation because it is inconsistent with the tolerant law of God. This ambassador had nothing to do with film producers or participated in it, so why was he murdered? Who did it? All these are questions that we want to answer until we reform the situation and prove, for example, that whoever did this deed was not a representative of Islam, and that what he did was just the point of view of an individual that was not bound to anyone.

Our master Muhammad is one of the finest creations of Allah (peace be upon him) and the most beloved creature to him. He is our intercessor and our beloved Messenger who suffered a lot in order to deliver us our holy religion, which dignified man and saved him from many things. Our gracious Messenger is characterized by many moralities. He was patient, thankful, gracious, merciful, and forgiving. He had a lot of forgiveness even to his enemies. He has many situations, which indicate the forgiveness of His Eminence, such as the Prophet Muhammad. For example, he went out to Uhud foray and the unbelievers dug a hole and covered it with leaves in order for the Prophet Muhammad to fall in it (peace be upon him). The Prophet Muhammad fell into it, broke his helmet and it entered his fine face. There were his companions who could not remove the iron without extracting the bone with it until Obaida Ibn Al Garah came and removed the iron using his teeth, even broken teeth, and the blood of the Prophet (peace be upon him) ran over his face. Ali Ibn Abi Talib comes with water and washes his holy face and Lady Fatima wiped the blood. However, it did not stop until she had taken a piece of the scarf, burnt it and filled the wounds with ash. O Messenger of God, in this dire situation, the hearts of the Muslims are broken with pain for the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). One companion said, “O Messenger of Allah, would not you call God on the infidels who did that to you?” So, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said that he was not sent to be a curser but sent as a mercy. O Allah, guide my people because they do not know. This is the tolerance and mercy of God’s finest creations. Please Allah, make us drink from his hand, a drink such that we will never feel thirsty after it. We pray to Allah to bless him and unite us with him in Paradise.

God suffices me for He is the Best Disposer of affairs, against any offender to the Prophet (Peace Be upon Him)

The attack on the U.S. Embassy in Libya and the killing of the U.S. ambassador was not an appropriate solution or reply to the abuse on the Prophet. We must punish the doers of the act, not the innocent people who have no fault and did not have any hand in the making of this film, which offended the Prophet. It is not in our ethics as Muslims, nor in the ethics of the Apostle against whom the people revolted. Whoever did this for him, our prophet would not respond with the same insult, but he was tolerant, not abusive. He didn't treat anyone badly. Whoever did this to the U.S. ambassador also offended the Apostle because they showed that Muslims are terrorists and that Islam is the religion of terrorism, and that we are not responsible for our actions. This is what the enemies of Islam want to spread: a bad image of Islam and the Muslims for those who do not know anything about Islam. Their goal has been achieved after what happened in Libya where the U.S. embassy was attacked and the ambassador was killed, then abusing his corpse. Are these the ethics of Islam? Are these the actions of Muslims? Of course, these are not our ethics.

Muhammad is the Messenger of God!

The killing of the U.S. ambassador in Libya is an outrageous act and can only be done by mean people who want the demolition of the nation. Such people do not have a mind or awareness because if they had truly known what is the interest of the country, then they would have preferred the interest of the country rather than their own. The whole community should have punished them, and more awareness should be promoted in the homeland, in order to help avoid the risks.

Islam is innocent of extremism and has a tendency towards the true thought. What happened in Libya by killing the U.S. ambassador is something that has never been mentioned in the history of the Prophet, as he offered security to all Christians and promised that to whoever enters his country, as long as he does not harm him and does not say a word that abuses Islam. So what happened is an outrageous act denied by Islam.

The Prophet, peace be upon him, was known for his decent, straight ethics and his morals are now regarded as a beacon to the Islamic nation and Muslims, as he was known for tolerance and sobriety of mind, good ethics and for pardoning those who offended him. In the pages of the Biography of the Prophet, it was reported that a Jewish man had a house next to the house of the Prophet, peace be upon him, and this man defecated every day in front of the house of the Holy Prophet; the chosen one only threw the feces away from his house without uttering any abusive language to this man and one day, Taha entered the house and did not see this dirt in front of him, so he marveled and asked the people about this man and they said to him that he was sick. The greatest prophet went to the house of the Jew to reassure and visit him; you are my father, my mother, and my soul, O Messenger of Allah, and this is the greatest proof of the tolerance of the Messenger of Allah and his respect for the rights of his neighbor who did not respect the rights of neighborhood of the Messenger of Allah, but when he heard that he was sick, he did not hesitate for a moment to visit him. What a great religion, which urges responding to abuse with goodness and charity to the neighbor and visiting the patient, even if he is not a Muslim; all of these indications show the greatness of Islam and its tolerance. Islam gave great prominence to the value of tolerance because this characteristic has reflections on the whole of society and on the unity of its members and thus we would have our social and political tolerance, which will achieve the concept of social justice in all parts of the Islamic world. Also, the Quran shows us our way and insists on the importance of tolerance in its holy verses such as "Repel (Evil) with what is better." It is worth mentioning that the quality of tolerance, if it is found in someone, he must inevitably possess a lot of other sublime qualities such as courage and patience, generosity, kindness and compassion; there is no human being who is tolerant and stingy or coward and suffused at the same time, suggesting that tolerance is a system of human morality.

In light of the conditions and circumstances that the Arab world is going through now and in the atmosphere of demonstrations and protests which we live, every individual must restrain and abandon violence used by some demonstrators where we find some of them throwing stones at security personnel, smashing central security cars, and storming the police stations and embassies; and all these acts are distorting the demonstrations and turning the police against the demonstrators, leading to the creation of an atmosphere of clashes between them and the demonstrators and working on claiming more lives from both sides. These demonstrations turned from peaceful demonstrations to bloody massacres, and rather than focusing on the objectives of the demonstration, the focus has become taking revenge for the souls of the martyrs, and the tragedy worsens. Peaceful demonstration is the best expression of our rejection of any breach without causing any casualties.

The American embassy was raided in Libya and the American ambassador was killed as a response to the offending film about the Messenger, Peace Be upon Him. This contradicts with the kind manners of Islam that call for forgiveness, mercy and peace. It is our right to defend our Messenger and Islam and to condemn the religious insults yet this has to be through peaceful protesting without killing, sabotage or destruction of the political institutions.

These days, many mistakes are taking place. The biggest of these mistakes include the killing of the American ambassador as well as setting the American embassy in Libya on fire. Americans are denying that they had anything to do with the film, and their government wants to safeguard its citizens everywhere. However, the fact that we didn’t yet even the score with those who made the film means there was no reason to kill the ambassador.

Libya and its current happenings include the killing of the American ambassador to Libya by some Libyans. There are some news sources that are saying Al-Qaeda had a great role in setting the embassy on fire and killing the staff inside it. They also say that what has happened was not planned beforehand and was not deliberate. They say killing the ambassador was not their goal, but that is what happened. Yet the killing of the ambassador sparked turmoil in the US, and the American administration decided to elevate the security of the rest of its embassies across the world. The government ordered tightening the security of embassies in order to safeguard the lives of people working at those embassies, and it also endeavored to explain that it had nothing to do with the insulting film. They also made it clear that they are against the content of this film. On the other hand, some people say that the late ambassador was extremely happy when he was appointed to be the American ambassador to Libya, and that the killing of the ambassador will spoil the relationships between nations. They also argue that this incident will prevent peace to prevail in the region, and that it will nullify all agreements and relationships created throughout the years. While we know that the American government has nothing to do with the film, but we had to exercise self-restraint and should have refrained from killing the ambassador before being sure of the truth of the matter. Nonetheless, there are people who support the killing of the ambassador.

The assassination of the American ambassador in Libya is an act that does not reflect the tolerance of Islam and it is in stark contrast to the teachings of our tolerant religion. What has happened should only be viewed as an individual act, which does not represent the policy or way of life of a whole nation. Despite that, we see that this act has opened the gates of hell to Muslims, whereby the whole world took the impression that anyone who is against Islam will be killed. Yet the noble prophet never encouraged us to do such things; he indeed called us to treat people nicely, so that we may attract them towards us and our faith. Human nature is naturally inclined towards pacifism and preventing bloodshed, instead of causing the demise of people. Among the rules introduced by the beloved prophet to his companions that were to be enforced at times of war were not terrorizing peaceful communities and not killing unarmed people. As a matter of fact, the rules stated that an unarmed adversary must be given a sword and be dueled. The Libyan government should track down that criminal who committed such a horrendous act, and he must be punished accordingly. This is so that everyone understands that killing innocents is indeed offending Islam as the insulting film does. I ask god to curse anyone who tries to distort the image of Islam by any act.

Being Muslims, it was neither decent nor worthwhile to behave as such because our religion is based on peace and mercy rather than violence and killing of the innocent. We should be committed to the principles of our religion regardless of the intensity of our anger and the provocation. The Muslims must rely on the ethics of their religion in addressing the offenders. The killing of the U.S. ambassador might reduce the sympathy of the international community with Muslims and distort the image of Islam. Indeed, we could be accused of advocating violence and bloodshed.

Egyptians are intelligent and sensible enough to unveil the plots which target their homeland and their national unity. Indeed, some parties are sowing sectarian strife, which could turn into a civil war. They want to complicate the situation in Egypt and make it too weak to confront its enemies.

I do not think that such failed attempts can drive a wedge between the wise Muslims and Christians in Egypt. The whole world recently witnessed big demonstrations, and all these events are not being caused by Muslims only, but there is also an objection on the part of the Christians to this film, because it is an abuse of all religions, not just the Islamic religion. Everybody is jealous of his religion, but Muslims and Christians are united against any abuse, either of the Islamic religion or of the Christian religion. All religions are God's and no one can offend them, so all the peoples now stand against this film, because it abuses all the religions of heaven.

If there had been justice in the USA, they would have been executed.

One of the biggest mistakes in the policy of the US government regarding the situation in the Arab region is allowing the rulers of the Gulf States to support the Islamic extremism in the Arab states, and particularly the takfiri Salafi extremist groups that seek to topple the progressive secular movements in the Arab states and extend their political influence to the extent of assuming power in Tunisia, Libya, and Egypt, and as what is happening in Syria. What happened to the US ambassador in Libya is a gesture of gratitude to the US favor upon them and a response to the US support to these extremist elements, groups and gangs that started threatening the national security as well as the world peace. These groups also commit violations against all the diplomatic missions. I strongly condemn what happened to the embassies and the diplomats as well as the shameful acts of riots and the chaos and murder that represents one of the outputs of the backward Salafi dirty thought that aims at taking the peoples back to the backwardness under trivial causes that does not deserve all such reactions. Those mean people are the enemies of humanity and they seek to destroy the bonds of brotherhood among the Arab peoples and affecting their strategic harms with the world. Particularly, they seek to spread hatred and enmity with the US society and the western society in general as well as their allies in the civilized and advanced world. The concepts of those who weep over insulting the Prophet, peace be upon him, judge all Muslims as disbelievers and allege that Muhammad and his household lost their religious status after their death. They also consider that glorification of the Prophet, peace be upon him, and his household as an act of polytheism. They use the pretext of a blasphemous film about the Prophet, peace be upon him, that was produced in the USA to make all this. Damn you O backward people. The world will never come back to adopt your Salafism or your dirty methodology.

The great Islamic religion urges the Muslims to argue with the non-Muslims in the best possible way. The best way to respond to those people is to make a film and mention the related Quranic verses. The Muslims are ready to make donations, but where are the Muslim organizations.

The West, the Jews, and the Americans must realize that the anger of the Muslims and their love for their religion can spark a third world war. They do not fear death, because the whole world today respects nothing but the power; otherwise, can anyone tell me why the USA and Europe attacked Libya and refrained from doing the same with Syria? It is the balance of power. What was taken by force must be restored with force in all of its forms. What the angry youth are doing would force the West to reconsider its stances.
