Oman is planning to close a $2.08 billion budget gap for 2010 by using its reserve funds, Reuters reported Wednesday (February 24th). The country's economic minister said the budget deficit will be financed by these emergency funds. "We expect average oil prices to stay above what we forecast for this year's budget," he added.
